Just Breathe

Time is promised to no one. Yes, there are 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds in each day, (give or take), but if you subtract sleep, meals, getting ready, traveling, working, family, and friends, you’re probably left with about 5 1/2 hours scattered here or there. So how can you maximize on that little time? Pace yourself.

As much as we want to write all of our to-do’s and get them all done in one day, do we remember to include a moment to breathe?  Or even a moment to close all of our tabs (both on our computer and in our minds)? When is the last time you sat down and thought about nothing? It can be quite challenging, especially as a Single Mom and an Entrepreneur.

Now is the time-well, after you finish reading this blog of course- to close the laptop, mute the phone, and breathe. Focus on your breath. Pay attention to it as it enters your body and and as it exits. Imagine positive words entering your body, like love, peace, patience, rejuvenation and negative words like panic, fear, worry, and anger leaving. Once you’ve calmed down and managed to let every thought pass by without resting and taking root, slowly power back up to a fresh start. No matter where you are in the day, it is always important to stop and breathe. Eventually, you will learn how to do this while your day is rolling, and there you will be better able to conquer all there is to do in your 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds …

Plan and Manifest Your Life!

For a while now, I hadn’t had the courage to present my brand to the U.S. of A. simply for fear of being judged, or more importantly sued (lol). It was a lot easier in Korea, especially since my soaps were intended to help combat the strange after-feel from the hard water, but it’s totally different here. The competition is greater and the risk is higher. Well, risk-takers have the most fun! It took a little while to get back on my feet (because you know, baby happened), and even to get back in the swing of crafting and creating, but once I began to stir up ideas for a new batch, nothing but MAGIC happened.

This brings us to last weekend. I was a part o f the 4th Annual Ultimate Girls Day Out event hosted by the Fabulous Girls Rock crew. I.had. a. Blast! I almost feel like I enjoyed it more than others. There were so many activities surrounding the bond of best and close friends. Food, drink, and Fabulosity were definitely present.

Anyway, it’s safe to say that I will definitely keep sharing the good news of Nature’s Pure Escentials,LLC until it becomes a household name.

Always ask for what you want and expect to receive it; and most importantly show gratitude when you do.

Escentially Yours,

FJ

Keep It Cool this Summer

A lot of times people sometimes pull me aside, or message me privately saying that they love the looks of my soaps but aren’t sure which ONE to buy first. Well, I always go with what I am most comfortable with, Mr. Keep It Cool. This is the 4-1-1 behind my FAVORITE creation, (don’t tell the others I said this), “Keep It Cool”.

Fall in Love

Inspired by:  Music || Wale’s “The Cool” and “Ambitious Girl,” from his More About Nothing mixtape, were on continuous replay while making this soap.

The Story: Hot Korean Summers || Korean Summers can get as high as  38°C/100°F  without a cloud in sight or breeze blowing! Walking in this weather can have the most fabulous ones of us all walking around feeling sticky ((yuck)). Keep It Cool reminds me of a refreshing drink under a lightly clouded clear blue sky for your skin.

The Escentials:

*Peppermint Essential Oil  (Mentha aquatica) has a calming effect on the body and on skin inflammation.  Reduces Headaches, fever, nausea, and fatigue. Great for aromatherapy purposes.

*Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus Globulus) is excellent for stimulating a better respiratory flow as well as help relieve mental exhaustion. An anti-inflammatory with antiseptic properties, Eucalyptus helps heal burns, abrasions, and cuts.

*Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus Bergamia) is a fresh, sweet citrus with spicy, floral notes. It is known as an anti-depressant, deodorizing astringent reported to help relieve anxiety, depression, and stress.

* Aloe Water formerly known as “the plant of immortality” in Ancient Egypt, the aloe plant is great for sunburn, acne, and acts as a moisturizer. It also has over 75 different nutrients in its gel. Some eat it, but we prefer to put it on our skin.
